Yogurt and Banana

Memorial Day Weekend, Part II

The fun continued on Memorial Day weekend and Sunday we went to the carnival in nearby Weston, CT. Though I was not able to go on the "Ferris" despite my pleading, I did get to ride the Dino-ride and the Elephants with Mom & Dad. Really good times on a sunny day!

Swinging with my cousins

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend, including a visit to Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Mac's, where I played with Griffin and Sophia. We all piled onto the tire swing and had a good ol' time.

At the Park...

Friday of a holiday weekend. Daddy took me to the park where we went on the swings and the playground. There were a bunch of girls and boys running on the beach and swimming in the pond, so I had fun checking them out while I was snacking.

New Shoes!

OK, so Trevor has been wearing the same shoes for, well, many months. He was sad, and perhaps even pained by this fact.

Today it all changed with...new shoes! All day he ran around yelling "New Shoes!" and showing them to everyone. We are currently exploring sponsorship options with Nike, Stride Rite, and Geox to keep this boy in new shoes for the rest of his life. Quite a transformation!

Mother's Day

I gave Mommy breakfast in bed and the card I made. Then we went to the Sherwood Island Beach Park and played in the sand. We had a nice early supper at the Schoolhouse Restaurant and I completely went over the moon for the hostess. All week I had been remarking on the "Ferris" wheel and the rides at the carnival in town, so we finally went after supper. When we arrived, the power failed on the rides, so we could not ride the "horses" carousel, but Dad took me on the giant slide. We finished and my first word was, predictably, "Again!"

20 Months, May 8, 2009

Can you believe I am 20 months? I really only get to sit in this chair once a month or so.

I am really talking now. I use little sentences like "I want it." and "Eat it." On the playground yesterday a woman predicted I would be in the White House someday after I correctly identified a bird flying overhead as a "hawk". Maybe when Daddy gets around to painting our yellow house -- white.

Derby Day

Griffin and Sophia came over and we played with the gym mat. Sometimes I wish I could just read in peace! But we had a blast and went to the Aquarium in Norwalk and saw the penguins.

Younger than Springtime

Spring has sprung in CT. We are getting the house, the deck, and the yard in order, and Trevor is spending more time outside. Last weekend we went to the beach and went for a hike. Maybe we are driving Trevor toward a life in the Bay Area, I don't know...

Rec Basketball Coaching

Trev took the big whistle and coached 5/6 rec hoops again.  Great year, great run.
