Soup Man
Trevor Christmas Eve
Trevor received some new PJs on Christmas Eve (Moose!) and set out some cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. Excitement and anticipation... Trev did not want to HEAR Santa, because his voice is a little scary. Of course, everyone knows Santa makes no sounds if he knows the children are scared of his voice, so there should not be a problem.
Christmas Preparation
Lots of questions from Trevor leading up to Christmas. Why don't the reindeer come in the house? How does Santa get back up the chimney? Where are the elves? He is very excited for Christmas. On a recent Santa "hayride" at Ambler farm he asked Santa for a new blanket for Avery and a small stuffed polar bear guy for himself.

3 Weeks Old!

Time is a funny thing. We are marching toward Christmas and have been counting down the days on the candy cane calendar. We decorated the tree, have been having fun at school, and know that 2010 is drawing to a close.
And then a baby comes. And everything stops. Or begins to fly by. Or both.
In some ways it feels like Avery has always been here and part of our family. In another sense, she just arrived. In any case, our little girl is three weeks old today. She will never be less than three weeks old again. And time keeps marching on...

CNSW Pumpkin Festival 2010
I am lucky to be a kid at Community Nursery School because we get to host the Pumpkin Festival every year. Mommy worked really hard with the other mommies and put on such a fun day!
I got my face painted. There were a lot of halloween faces walking around, a few spidermen, but I had been talking for days about getting my face painted as an ELEPHANT. So some of the high school girl face paint artists got together and pulled it off! Then I rode a pony (Dallas) which was fun, if a little scary. There were two great bands that I loved too. I had lots of treats and played games and saw all of my friends. Then Jade and Max and Rogan showed up and I got to play with them for a while too.
Such a fun day.

We headed South, which was lucky because the McLaurins did as well so we were all able to meet up for the Memorial Day Parade in Sharpsburg,...
