Avery at One Month

One month pic for Avery in the chair! One month!

Soup Man

Trevor is getting very good and careful with his spoon use this winter. We still need a bib, however.

The Galligan Kids

Christmas time is all about the kids. Or so they tell me.

Christmas 2010

Home in Wilton, hunkered down, fire going and lots and lots of presents. Santa found us.

Trevor Christmas Eve

Trevor received some new PJs on Christmas Eve (Moose!) and set out some cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. Excitement and anticipation... Trev did not want to HEAR Santa, because his voice is a little scary. Of course, everyone knows Santa makes no sounds if he knows the children are scared of his voice, so there should not be a problem.

Avery Christmas Eve

Did you hear something? Was that Santa?

Phew!

Sometimes Avery just has to throw her hands up with this whole holiday thing. It is exhausting.

Christmas Preparation

Lots of questions from Trevor leading up to Christmas. Why don't the reindeer come in the house? How does Santa get back up the chimney? Where are the elves? He is very excited for Christmas. On a recent Santa "hayride" at Ambler farm he asked Santa for a new blanket for Avery and a small stuffed polar bear guy for himself.

3 Weeks Old!

Time is a funny thing. We are marching toward Christmas and have been counting down the days on the candy cane calendar. We decorated the tree, have been having fun at school, and know that 2010 is drawing to a close.

And then a baby comes. And everything stops. Or begins to fly by. Or both.

In some ways it feels like Avery has always been here and part of our family. In another sense, she just arrived. In any case, our little girl is three weeks old today. She will never be less than three weeks old again. And time keeps marching on...

Our Tarrytown cousins

Avery met her cousins Griffin and Sophia last weekend. She is slowly meeting more and more people. Everyone thinks she is very small and cute. Good thing is they also tend to bring the big brother a present when they come to see the baby.

Taking a lot of pictures these days, for the holiday card and to document Avery's new arrival...

A Little Angel

Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings...

Stamford Balloon Parade

A week or so before my sister came, we went to a parade in Stamford. There were a lot of huge balloons and marching bands.

Avery - November 28, 2010

Mommy and Daddy went to the hospital Sunday morning at 4am. Renee from across the street came over when I was still sleeping. I woke up and she gave me some Cheerios and Gigi and Grandaddy came over from Tarrytown. Later that day, my little sister Avery was born!

Rec Basketball Coaching

Trev took the big whistle and coached 5/6 rec hoops again.  Great year, great run.
