Avery has a particular affinity for playing in puddles. So fun.

18 Months
A year and a half. And I wrestled her into the brown chair. Cannot believe our baby girl is 18 months. She has essentially taken over the leadership position in the household, so I suppose it looks better for all of us if she gets a bit older. She is a trundling, squealing, ceaseless delight.
The Conservatory
Music echoes through our little halls and bounces off our little walls. Constantly. And now we are getting it in stereo. They take turns with the various keyboards.
Mother's Day luncheon
Trevor hosted his Mother at school for a "surprise" Mother's Day lunch prepared by the children. He was pretty excited! Mom couldn't wait for the bread and vegetable soup.
Big Guy
Trevor is growing up and his looks are changing. Last few weeks at Community Nursery School are upon us. Hard to believe!
Beardsley Zoo
We hit the Beardsley Zoo in Bridegport a few weekends ago. Saw some great animals up close! Avery walked the entire way. Trev made sure the stoller was put to use at the end of the day.
Avery 16 months
A bit dated here, but Aave did get in the chair for Daddy in late March. So call this the 16 month brown chair photo. She is not as prone to sitting as her bit brother, this one.
Trev on the bike
We went through a heavy biking phase in April where Trev had to go to Tamarack (dead end) almost every day. We still love our bike, and really love putting on all of our pads!
Colgate Lacrosse
Daddy has been excited all year with the great season Colgate Lacrosse was having. Ranked in the top 10, beat Maryland, and invited to the NCAA Tournament. Colgate beat UMass in the first round (and the Schubkagels were at our house to enjoy that win). For the second round against Duke, Daddy and I, with Rob, Jade and Rogan Lowe took a road trip to Philadelphia! Unfortunately, after Colgate was winning 4-2, the Blue Devils slammed the door and ended up winning 17-6. Ouch. But we kids got a lot of fun Colgate gear and it was a fun trip anyway!

Mother's Day 2012
Had a beautiful sunny Mother's Day. We drove to Kent for brunch with Sarah and Didier and Jackson and Clay. After a nice meal we found ourselves in Kent Falls park with some wet and muddy children. Once back home, Trev hit the Carnival!

We headed South, which was lucky because the McLaurins did as well so we were all able to meet up for the Memorial Day Parade in Sharpsburg,...
