Camper, Tiger
First day of camp at Ambler Farm was a little rainy, so one thing we did was paint our faces. Going to be a good time.
Father's Day
Excellent Father's Day 2012 included the traditional trip to the beach in Westport, but it was kicked off with -- HOMEMADE BANANA MUFFINS. Courtesy of a couple of little monkeys.
Summer is here
Mommy went to the beach in Rhode Island with some other Mommies, so Daddy took us to Merwin Meadows. We got sandy and wet and generally had a ball.
Tee Ball - Team Red
Fantastic first season of tee ball. The entire team was kids from CNSW, which made it much more fun - and eliminated the need for nametags. No outs, no strikes, everybody hits. The last kid always gets a homer. When in the field, Team Red was very strong at swarming any groundball, piling onto each other, and then looking around in a daze. Occasionally we would run the bases in reverse, or field the ball when we were a runner on second base, say, but we tried, we laughed, and we have an enormous red T-shirt that will last for years. Go Team Red!
CNSW, last day of 4s
Hard to believe, Trevor completed two years at CNSW and made it through the ceremonial "Pizza and PJs" graduation Muppet Movie ceremony. Touching. All the kids got to ring the bell on the last day. Declaring for the world their readiness for the challenges that lie ahead... on to the next playground
Winchester, MA
Took a fun trip to Boston and its environs (Winchester) to see "Uncle" Ben and "Aunt" Maura, and Celia and Carson. Had a great time touring downtown Boston, and running around with the kids. Chandra and Gage made it for dinner with Uncle Teddy as well.

Line of the Day
"Daddy, come in here and see what my little sister did to her face!"
Panicked father enters the room to find Avery with mommy's plum lip balm slathered on her mouth and cheeks. Which I suppose is better than some alternatives to what she could have done to her face...

We headed South, which was lucky because the McLaurins did as well so we were all able to meet up for the Memorial Day Parade in Sharpsburg,...
