The Village Market orange team is storming through the Spring tee ball season in Wilton. Little number 2 is getting the hang of throwing to first, and hitting the ball.

Spring Break Golf in Maryland
The family traveled down to Gigi and Grandaddy's house for some R&R and some warm(ish) weather. In the week after watching The Masters on TV, Trevor was introduced to real, live golf by Grandaddy! On the first day, Trev hit the putting green. On the second day, Trev hit the putting green, the driving range, and then when Daddy joined, all three boys were in the cart and played (some of) the front 9 at Fountainhead. On the last day Grandaddy even got Trev his very own 5 iron. He's got the love.

Say Goodbye to Bobbies???
Avery decided this morning, by herself, that today was the day she was a "big girl" and it was time to give her bobbies (pacis) to "Baby Nikki" Todd, who she saw last week. She put them in a back and whisked them off with Mommy. This may have been brought on by last night's fire pit party at the Morris' where all of the "big kids" were allowed on the trampoline -- but not Avery! When Daddy got home from work Avery's first words were "Daddy, I'm a big girl! I gave my bobbies to Baby Nikki!"
She looked for them at bedtime, but I told her Baby Nikki was so happy, and Avery was such a big girl. Big Day today.

Ballaleena.
Avery is into Princesses and Ballerinas. Are we horrible parents, or do some things just happen?
Easter
Aunt Jeanne hosted her annual Easter Egg Hunt - 20+ kids, 440 eggs, zip line, sheer insanity. Avery got right into the swing of it this year and filled that basket! For Easter Sunday the McLaurins came over to Wilton and we had a nice Easter brunch.
Magic Show
Trev was in the magic club at school for a few months. Which resulted in non-stop magic at home and Avery walking around saying words like "disappear" and "ta-da!"
Last big snow of the winter
Winter lingered on and on and on. In March we had one of our last big snowfalls and we went sledding down the BACK hill. Trevor ended up in the creek, which thankfully was frozen over.

Self-Discipline Award
Today at First Friday Mass, Trevor was awarded the "Self-Discipline" Award for the Kindergarten. Daddy was able to be there and enjoy Trevor's big sheepish SMILE!
Congratulations, Trevor!
Avery has a great language development thing going. She is speaking very well, with a great vocabulary. One of Daddy's favorites: "I will do it when my older..." With "my" being the opposite of "your" or, in this case "you're" -- which is what she hears!
She has also proclaimed that she is a ballerina as well. And when she is mad she will "wipe off your kisses." Which hurts.

We headed South, which was lucky because the McLaurins did as well so we were all able to meet up for the Memorial Day Parade in Sharpsburg,...
