End of School

Thanks to Mrs. Young and a solid group of good friends, we had a really great first grade year.  But it flew by!

Thanks to Mrs. Dubow and Mrs. Brown, Avery had a great "3/4s" year and looks forward to the 4s next year at Community.  Two weeks of June school were great too!  Don't tell Avery she was the only girl in the second week -- she did not seem to notice.

Bronx Zoo

Love the animals -- great day at the zoo.  Avery even broke out the stroller for old times sake.

Summer is here

Avery on the swing.  Baseball trophies.

A walk in the woods

Family hike in Wilton Town Forest.  Avery's choice to go for a hike.  Trevor continues to question the utility of walking with no destination.

Poolside Ladies!

Summer is finally here.

Lacrosse Jamboree

To wrap up Trevor's lacrosse season (Daddy wrapped his with another loss in the finals to Tsunami -- second in a row to that team and third in a row overall!) with the "Pound on the Sound" Jamboree at Vets Park in Norwalk.  It was such a great day of lacrosse!  Three games, faced Westport, Trumbull and Fairfield first grade teams.  Trevor had Coach Wiseman and his Daddy coach, and did great.  He was a groundball hound, scored two goals, had a few assists and played goalie (his real objective).  Fantastic day!

Trevor's Show, Aesop's Fables

Trevor did a great job in his two roles (Guard and Head Ant) in the adaptation of Aesop's Fables at Crystal Theater.  He had some great laugh lines, especially as Head Ant, and did a great job speaking his lines loudly and clearly.  Our little actor had a ball!

Wilton Deli Reds Baseball

Trev made great strides this spring as a sports guy.  Coach Ferranti was fantastic as a baseball coach, full or knowledge and patience.  By the end of the season the Reds were looking good and Trevor had great form in the field and at the plate.

The only remaining question is when does the team photo get on the wall in the Wilton Deli??

Cub Scout Campout

Daddy and Trevor went on the cub scout Spring campout at Pound Ridge Ward Reservation.  Hiking (not Trev's favorite part) dinner, fireside skits and s'mores.  Lots of fun with Brody and others and a nice night in the tent.

Avery's Dance Recital

Celebrating the crazy freedom of the costume designer, and the wonder of the "Jungle Book" soundtrack, Avery and her classmates took the stage at Wilton High School on May 30 and showed off their moves.  First was the dress rehearsal and some good times with friends.  All of this was a bit uncertain in the week leading up to the show as Avery was not exactly sure she was going to perform at all!  Leave 'em wanting more!  She knows how to work it with her "Only by Bravo" hip thrust poses.

Rec Basketball Coaching

Trev took the big whistle and coached 5/6 rec hoops again.  Great year, great run.
