Rangers v. Wild
The Rangers season is all but lost to injury and a decision to trade away some beloved players. But Trevor and Daddy had their annual Rangers game on Feb. 23 at the Garden against the Minnesota Wild. Rangers lost 4-1 and had a lone pretty goal by Jesper Fast. Henrick did not play as rookie Alexander Georgiev got his second NHL start.
But we had a blast. Trevor got on the big jumbo-tron. And after the game Trevor got the Captain, Ryan McDonagh, to sign his famous red hat (McDonagh would be traded to Tampa Bay three days later), Henrick Lundquist to sign a trading card and Brady Skeji to also sign the famous red hat. That was thrilling and made the night. We even saw "pony tail" guy who runs the penalty box for the Rangers at Duane Reade after the game. Fun trip to MSG!

Seeking Sunshine in the DR
We packed up and played hookey and went to the Dominican Republic for a week. It was a beautiful Westin on the beach in Punta Cana. Lots of time lounging and playing with new friends at the pool. We had a fun outing swimming with the dolphins. We also took a remarkable half day tour with Juan learning about the DR, meeting some school kids and giving them some gift bags, and sampling some of the coffee and cocoa. Finally, we took a hike in a nature preserve and swam in amazing lagoons.
Great trip to a beautiful spot.

Road Trip
Avery and Daddy took a road trip to Hagerstown for the Memorial Service for Daddy's Aunt Meg. Good to spend time with the Galligan side, including some new cousins! Handstands for Gigi, and a quick stop at Crayola and a Noodle shop in Easton, PA.
