With the cub scouts, an amazing experience sleeping on the USS Massachusetts, a WWII Battleship!
The beds were not comfortable, the snoring around us was overpowering, the food was not great, but we loved living like real sailors, at least for a day.
2800 men on board (designed for 1800), the USS MA did not lose anyone in combat but fought in major WWII battles. Amazing ship.

Cider Mill's Got Talent
Trevor and Brody, the "Masked Magicians" wowed the crowd at the Middlebrook Auditorium as part of the first Cider Mill talent show. Pouring lemonade, iced tea and water all from the same container. How did they do that? Great job.

Spring has come?!?
Mommy went to her reunion in Durham, and we were on the go...
Soccer, lacrosse, games and practices, jamborees, rehearsals, birthday parties, tea parties, carnival, craziness. But the sun was shining and we had FUN.
Trevor won his first lacrosse game and first soccer game. And Avery won her soccer game. Teddy was the big winner with tons of time outside. Capped it off with a lost tooth on Sunday!

Spring Break in Washington
Quick trip to Washington DC for Spring Break. We stayed with Aunt Annie 2 nights and saw Uncle Mark, Caroline and Cole. We stayed at the W Hotel one night, around the corner from the White House. Fantastic trip, starting with Mt. Vernon in VA. We also did the Spy Museum, Ford's Theater, a lot of walking on the Mall for the Washington Monument, the WWII Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. Then we hit the Bureau of Engraving, the tower at the Old Post Office Pavilion, walked the White House area, and took a Duck Tour in town (Capitol and Union Station) and in the Potomac (National Airport). We had Ethiopian food and some sushi burritos and dinner at Kristin and Vadim's house. Saturday morning we went to the Zoo to see the pandas, the Lebowitzes and wrap the trip. Great weather, cherry blossoms, family, friends, and some great memories!
Rangers Misery
NY Rangers trade away their captain Ryan McDonagh, JT Miller, Rick Nash, Michael Grabner and others. They fail to make the playoffs for the first time in 8 seasons. And finally, the coach Alain Vigneault, beloved on Hidden Lake Ridge, was relieved of his duties the day after the final game (loss) of the season. Trevor is saddened when I share the news the next morning.
Easter in Wilton
Grandaddy and Gigi came over to Wilton, caught a lacrosse practice and stayed for a few nights. The McLaurins joined for an egg hunt and Easter dinner. It was sunny and almost warm. Avery was barefoot. And then it snowed on Monday...

We headed South, which was lucky because the McLaurins did as well so we were all able to meet up for the Memorial Day Parade in Sharpsburg,...
