Scouts on Ice

Pack 22 hit the Sound Tigers game again this year and held the massive flag for the national anthem.  We went with Brody and Ray and dads and had a fun time.  Tigers won in OT!!

New Years Eve!

We were back in town after a week on the road in time for the Schubkagel's New Years party.  8:30 balloon drop for the kids was welcomed by the adults.

Christmas ROAD TRIP 2015

We took the band on the road for Christmas, driving through the rainy and warm mid-Atlantic and SE USA.  Washington D.C. Maryland, North Carolina and Western Maryland all ports of call for family, food, and fun, fun, fun!  Great times with cousins, thoughtful gifts (including a trip to Cameron, thanks Uncle Warren!) and Christmas cheer was had by all.

Sundae came into our lives December 1 and engaged and enchanted right up to Christmas.  That rascal.

NYC Radio City Christmas Spectacular

Excellent sunny day in Manhattan for the Radio City Music Hall and the Christmas Spectacular.  Train troubles early took us to SoNo, but it all worked out.  avery saw and took in the Grand Central ceiling for the first time and ALL. THOSE. STARS.  Lunch at a "fancy French bistro" and stops at the NHL Store and the Bryant Park Christmas market.  Love NYC.

Warm weather

We are trying to make ready for Christmas, but with it 60 degrees outside, we can only go out and play!

Maybe only the second haircut of Avery's life happened recently.  Emily took the lead...

Christmas Cheer

The kids are getting excited for Christmas with the Advent calendar, Sundae the elf, and the Christmas tree.  Fun time decorating.

Elf on a Shelf

An Elf on the Shelf arrived on December 1.  The kids named him "Sundae" -- as in ice cream.  He seems very nice.  Magically goes home to the North Pole every night to report to Santa, then returns here and hides in the apartment each morning.  Trevor read the book to Avery on the first morning.  No one can touch the elf, or he loses his magic.

Avery's Party

We had a great party at "Pump it Up."  We had 19 kids and a great time!  The wind machine was a highlight and then Pin-the-cherry-on-the-cupcake.  Avery had a ball.
