Minutemen Win Fourth Consecutive Title

Daddy's team just keeps getting older.  And winning.

Soccer, Soccer

Avery played both "Rec" (Team Spain) and "Travel" and improved this year.  She is getting more aggressive and has more stamina and seems to like the game.  She loves the girls and having fun with friends -- that is clear.  Hopefully the development continues.

Trevor had a hard Spring with lots of conflicts between soccer and lacrosse.  He played well in goal, but with few friends on the team, he was not that into soccer.  His whole friend group plays football and he will try that in the fall.

Final 5th Grade Lacrosse Tourney

Capping a really great year, the boys played well in the "Border Battle" tourney against some MA and NJ teams.  Trev was sharp and kept us in some games, making some crazy saves.

School Nearly Over

Daddy went to his Colgate reunion (25!) and came home in time for the Lexi sleepover in the teepee.

Memorial Day Weekend

Back from Philly late.  Sunday morning 5K in Wilton.  Fun BBQ at the Kanes.  Monday morning pancake breakfast and then the parade!  Both kids marching.  Great weather day.  Amazing time.

Championship Weekend

Trevor and Daddy went to Philly with Ray and Scott Slough for the NCAA lacrosse Championship Weekend.  Great time, saw some friends, and connected with Dad's friend Pete Strid from Philly -- who got us into a luxury box for the second game.  Great day of lacrosse!  UVA went on to win it all after beating Duke in the semi.

And we got cheese steaks after the games.

Avery moves up

Fantastic Second Grade year with Mrs. Kear and bittersweet to leave Miller Driscoll.  Our little bundle of positive energy is ready for 3rd grade and has grown and learned so much!  She did great with her speech to the parents, we loved all of her work in the classroom, and then we were treated to a concert!

5 Blue Lacrosse

Some action shots from the Westport game, which we won 12-5.  Great year by the boys.  Through rain and rain and rain...

Sleeping on the Floor

In May Avery decided to sleep on the floor in her room in a sleeping bag.  For about 3 or 4 weeks...  And then she hopped back in the top bunk.  No real reason.

Mother's Day Prep

Lovely Mother's Day with breakfast in bed.  The kiddos had some prepping with the artwork...

Rec Basketball Coaching

Trev took the big whistle and coached 5/6 rec hoops again.  Great year, great run.
