Trevor is a teenager
He is not happy about it -- but it is true. Had a few boys over for some outdoor fun to celebrate. Avery had Paige over to share the fun. Ping Pong table came in time! Proud of Trevor.
Back to School
Two days in person (Mon, Tues) for the first half of the alphabet. Half day remote Wednesday, 2 days remote on Thurs. Friday. First few weeks were completely remote. It is a grind, but we are grateful for space and focus and time...
Dad's BDay at the LC
Some mellow COVID fun at the Lake Club for Dad's BDay. A few families. Lake Club has been terrific for the summer. Lots of tennis for everyone, lots of time in the pool. Reservations for "cabanas" and tables for blocks of time -- all worked pretty well.

Vermont
And for a final act of the summer, a few nights in VT with the McLaurins at a lake cabin in Ludlow. Beautiful setting, lots of fun in the water and in the house. A rigorous hike up White Rock Rec area and some good down time. Dad ran into a college friend by luck -- which was especially fantastic because the friend had a boat!
Harry Potter
Avery loved book 1, and got to watch the movie with friends. And the friend's mom bought props...
Skaneateles Round Two
For all of the challenges posed by 2020, there have been some bright spots. And going to Skaneateles TWICE in one summer is definitely one. Second trip to the Finger Lakes this summer, fleeing the power outage, working from Ben's porch, and fun times with the cousins (Camp Crawdad Grill) and Grandma. Awesome weather.
And a Niagara Falls trip tucked in there as well.
