Two weekends in Delaware in March with the 2026 Eclipse "Nightmares!" Coach Koshansky was not available with the impending birth of his first child, so Jamie Haneford took the helm with about 2 weeks to go. First weekend Trev and Dad went to Delaware Friday night. Nightmares lost to Sweetlax, LI Express and Orange Crush, 0-3, back in the car and back to CT. Haneford had a week of practice to build these boys up. Back to DE the following weekend for the 2-day qualifier tournament, 6 teams of 16 would go to the WSYL in July. Day 1 the Nightmares regrouped and went 3-0 against the Outlaws, the Express B and the Orange Crush. Day 2 lost a crusher to Prime Time 4-3 and then had a must-win against FCA Rochester. OT win to qualify with Trevor in the goal! Final game didn't really matter but lost to Team 91. Fun weekend with a great Saturday, 3-0 and sunny weather. Fun team dinner in DE. Sunday was rainy and cold, and uncertain. But it was an exciting weekend, happy for the boys to qualify for the WSYL -- will be a great experience.
