80 for Grandaddy

After Christmas we celebrated Grandaddy's upcoming 80th bday in January.  We rented a bus and took the whole crew around to Grandaddy's noteworthy spots -- his childhood home, his elementary school, his church, his high school, Catholic University, the cemetery where his parents are buried.  We then went to dinner at Maggiano's in Chevy Chase.  He was very surprised.  And he loved the idea, and shared many memories.
